MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION

THREE WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE:

I)  SELF-HELP: Stress can be relieved through your efforts at self-help. Two compact discs are now available:
       1) The “Basic Stress Reduction” CD and
       2) The “Mindfulness Meditation” CD.

You may want to try reaching your desired state of relaxation by using one or both of these CDs at home, then deciding whether one of the following Courses might also be helpful to you. 

II) BASIC STRESS REDUCTION COURSE (BSRC):  This 2-session Course facilitates relaxing the body and calming the mind. As featured in OPRAH Magazine (October, 2002), students indicated that this Course and the original Mindfulness Meditation CD increased their ability to move through tasks quickly and calmly.

III)  MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION COURSE (MBSR) *: This 8-session Course provides deeper and broader impacts on your life. MBSR is a self-directed way to create greater awareness and control in your life. Awareness permits choice in how to respond and influence circumstances, as opposed to being carried away by reacting to currents of stress.
